MR. BURTON

Starring Harry Lawtey, Toby Jones, Lesley Manville

The true story of wild schoolboy Rich Jenkins, son of a boozy miner and his relationship with an English teacher, Philip Burton, who recognised his raw talent. A moving, untold story of how Rich Jenkins became Richard Burton, the greatest star Wales has ever produced and who later said of Philip Burton “I owe him everything.”

A great, affordable, evening out in Wadhurst, watching the latest films with friends and family.

Local

The films are show in the Commemoration Hall, right in the centre of Wadhurst.

Big screen quality

Films are shown on a 5.5 metre screen, on the stage, with high definition quality and great surround sound.

Plenty of space

The hall has a capacity for 200 seats, so there is plenty of space to sit together with family and friends, or further apart if you would prefer.

Refreshments

Get prepared for the film with a drink and snacks… from popcorn to a glass of wine!

Tickets on the door

Becoming a member is the best way to benefit from the Cinema. However, you can turn up and buy a ticket on the door.

So, if you have a free evening, why not grab a friend and pop along… or come on your own.  If you don’t know anyone when you come through the door, you’ll have made friends by the time you leave!
